Winter Reminders:

•    Each homeowner is responsible for keeping sidewalks adjacent to their property clear and safe in accordance with City of Novi ordinance.  This includes clearing snow, ice and removing snow that may accumulate around your mailbox due to snow plowing, so the mail trucks have access.

•    If you hire a private contractor for snow removal services please remind them not to plow snow into the public roadway. This is not only disruptive to local traffic and snow removal operations, but it is illegal under Michigan law. If you use a snow blower please aim the snow to the side of your drive not into the street.

•    DO NOT park vehicles on any street during snow and sleet.  It makes it very difficult for the plows to effectively remove snow from the streets.
If you experience a problem with snow removal please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call the office 248-374-9375 and leave a message.  Both are monitored during snow falls.
